eBay Repricing Application Privacy Notice

- Purpose of This Notice
trreusegroup operates an internal application that helps evaluate and maintain pricing for marketplace listings managed by trreusegroup.
This notice explains how information obtained through eBay APIs is processed, used, retained, shared, and protected.
The application is for trreusegroup’s internal business use only. It is not offered to the public or to other sellers.
- Information We Process
The application may temporarily process publicly available eBay product-listing information, including:
- Listing titles and short descriptions
- Product condition
- Product category
- Buying options
- Item and shipping prices
- Product identifiers and product attributes
- Other product information necessary to determine whether listings represent materially comparable products
The application is not designed to collect or retain:
- Buyer names or addresses
- Buyer payment information
- eBay passwords or login credentials
- Private eBay messages
- Order or shipment information
- Seller usernames or seller profile information
- Seller feedback history
- Information intended to identify an individual eBay user
- How Information Is Used
Information obtained through eBay APIs is used only to:
- Identify active listings for materially comparable products
- Exclude unrelated products, incompatible products, condition mismatches, bundles, lots, and accessories
- Calculate internal SKU-level pricing statistics
- Produce proposed replacement prices for existing marketplace listings
- Maintain competitive and accurate listing prices
- Create internal reports, warnings, and audit information
The information is not used to provide pricing services to outside sellers or other third parties.
- Local Artificial Intelligence Processing
Limited listing text and product information may be processed by a language model hosted on systems controlled by trreusegroup.
The language model is used solely to determine whether an eBay listing represents a materially comparable product.
The locally hosted model:
- Is used for inference only
- Is not trained or fine-tuned using eBay information
- Does not permanently learn from processed listings
- Does not receive eBay seller or buyer information
- Does not receive eBay listing prices or shipping prices
- Does not receive actual eBay item identifiers
- Does not receive trreusegroup’s current product price
- Does not transmit prompts or listing information to an external artificial-intelligence provider
Temporary model inputs and listing-level classification results are deleted after each processing run.
Pricing calculations, price thresholds, averages, medians, and proposed replacement prices are calculated separately using deterministic software and are not determined by the language model.
- Pricing and Listing Updates
The application produces internal SKU-level pricing results.
An employee manually initiates the downstream repricing process by importing the resulting pricing file into a separate internal system.
The downstream system applies additional safeguards. Proposed price changes above the established automatic-processing threshold are withheld and require employee review before a final price is entered or approved.
Approved pricing information may be provided to systems used by trreusegroup to manage its own marketplace listings.
- Information Retention
Listing-level eBay information is retained only temporarily while a pricing run is being processed.
Temporary listing-level information and artificial-intelligence classification results are deleted following completion, cancellation, or failure of the processing run.
trreusegroup may retain internal SKU-level aggregate information, including:
- Internal SKU
- Current internal price
- Number of comparable listings
- Average comparable price
- Median comparable price
- Proposed replacement price
- Aggregate rejection counts
- Processing date and time
- Review warnings and processing status
These retained records are not intended to identify an eBay buyer, seller, or other individual user.
- Information Sharing
trreusegroup does not sell, license, publish, or distribute eBay listing data or derived pricing information to outside parties.
Information may be processed by internal trreusegroup systems and by service providers used to manage trreusegroup’s own marketplace listings.
Service providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform the applicable business function.
- eBay Account Deletion and User Information
The application is not designed to retain information that identifies an individual eBay user.
If trreusegroup becomes aware that it possesses information subject to a valid account-deletion or privacy request, trreusegroup will review its systems and delete applicable information unless retention is required by law.

- Security
trreusegroup uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to:
- Limit access to authorized personnel
- Protect application credentials
- Protect temporary and retained information
- Prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure
- Delete temporary listing-level information after processing
No method of electronic processing, transmission, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
- Changes to This Notice
trreusegroup may update this notice when the application, its data-processing practices, or applicable requirements change.
The current version of this notice will remain publicly available at this location and will include an updated revision date when changes are made.
